Zombie Attack
On twitter? If so, be sure to check out Zombie Attack - the story of two brothers who flee their family farm when their small town is overrun by zombies:
"Their lives had never been terribly interesting, until the day they noticed the children in their neighborhood begin to get terribly ill. As the illness progressed, the children would either die or become more and more aggressive, to the point of violently attacking family members and severely injuring many around them. Those that had been attacked or bitten also fell ill. After the violent death of Matt and Greg's sister they began to realize that they needed to get out of their town, they abandoned their home and family to head for the city, hoping to find survivors and answers."
Twitter is an interesting means of telling the story, and Zombie Attack is sure to inspire others to tell their own.

Feeling sheepish?
This is such a great story, its almost disappointing that its not actually true! From Melbourne newspaper The Age:
Thousands of Japanese have been swindled in a scam in which they were sold Australian and British sheep and told they were poodles.
Flocks of sheep were imported to Japan and then sold by a company called Poodles as Pets, marketed as fashionable accessories, available at $1,600 each.
That is a snip compared to a real poodle which retails for twice that much in Japan.
The scam was uncovered when Japanese moviestar Maiko Kawamaki went on a talk-show and wondered why her new pet would not bark or eat dog food.
She was crestfallen when told it was a sheep.

What's going on...
Regular readers will have noticed that its been pretty quiet around here lately. After a long break, I am back at university doing my Masters degree in Applied Linguistics. Next month, I'm off to Tubingen in Germany to take part in a photography workshop. On top of all of that, I've taken on a lot of extra work in the last month, so naturally I am now up to my eyeballs with essays, emails, and work meetings.
